FAQ

Making the most of what Flex-Ability has to offer you

Payment options

Workers Compensation/ Third Party:

Costs associated with your treatment will be billed directly to your insurer once you have provided us with all the necessary claims information. Without this information, all costs will need to be billed to the patient.

Private clients:

Cashless payments are encouraged and we have the latest systems for convenient on the spot claiming from most health funds. In order to use our HICAPS Go on the spot claiming, please download the app to your phone (https://apps.apple.com/au/app/hicaps-go/id1143412688 or https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.medipass&hl=en_AU) . You will then be able to securely store your health fund and credit/debit card details allowing a simple confirmation of the charge details sent to you to easily process both your health fund rebate and gap payment.

EFT facilities are available through Medipass for telehealth clients. This system has no terminal but allows the payment details to be sent to your mobile phone. You can then enter your card details for secure payment directly to us.

EFT and HICAPS on the spot claiming are also available via the HICAPS terminal for clients coming to the Bulli practice

Medicare rebates for EPC clients:

If you have all your details registered with Medicare, we can process your claim for you after payment for the consultation is made (see options available for private clients). The Medicare rebate will then be paid directly to your linked bank account from Medicare.

DVA clients:

If you are eligible for DVA funding of your treatment and have provided us with all the necessary claims information, we will bill DVA directly for all eligible costs.

What to wear

It is generally helpful or necessary for your physiotherapist to be able to observe the affected parts of your body and their movement, and sometimes also of other body areas that may have an impact on your presenting problem. Comfortable clothing that allows unrestricted movement and as much visibility as possible is therefore advised. Shorts and a singlet or crop top are often ideal. Gowns and shorts are available in the clinics if needed.

Access

Nicole usually works from an upstairs consultation space at The Bulli Medical Practice. If access via the stairs will not be possible for you, please contact us so that alternative arrangements can be made.

Preparation for an ultrasound session

If you are coming to Flex-Ability Physio for Real Time Ultrasound Biofeedback training of your pelvic floor, please empty your bladder around 2hrs before your consultation then drink 500 -1000ml of water or other fluid and try to hold this until after your ultrasound. This allows us to image your pelvic floor by placing the scanner on your lower abdominal wall and scanning through the fluid filled bladder.

RTUB for other body areas requires no special preparation.
